There’re different levels or stages in the personal trainer course programs. If people want to take the higher level, of course, they need to take and complete the previous level. For instance, people can’t take Certificate IV Gym Course program without taking and completing the Certificate II level first.

So, if people want to focus on personal trainings level 3 which is considered as Intermediate level, not only they will continue the basic they’ve got from the level 2, but they will also have deeper understanding and deeper focus. If they want to take the Intermediate level, they’re given the options of various gym courses available for them.

They can take:

The full time Diploma for Master Personal Trainer

The part time Diploma for Master Personal Trainer

The full time Certificate for personal trainer

The part time Certificate for personal trainer

The Exercise and GP referral

The Nutritional Knowledge for Physicals Activities

The Massage Sport Therapy Certificate

Each of these subjects is designed with special purpose and curriculum. For instance, in GP referral, the participants will be taught about how to strengthen the links between fitness professional and healthcare, as well as designing their own referral plan and scheme. Everything should be beneficial for themselves and their clients.

For starters, you need a strong grip and strong fingers.

Mega Strength For the Rock Climbers – Improve Your Climbing With Kettlebell Training

Rock climbing is one of the rapidly growing sports in the world. It removes the moisture from the hands of the climbers thus enhancing their grip. They blow over their hands after in an attempt to remove the excess powder off their hands.

To prevent all this climbers use the rock climbing chalk to dry their hands and to improve their grip.Usually the climbers have wet hands. Then they dip their hands in a bag that contains dried, powdered and sieved magnesium carbonate. This is nothing but the rock climbing chalk. Using the rock climbing chalk is one important means that is preferred by all the climbers universally to keep their hands in just the perfect condition that will give them a better and firmer grip. Rock climbing is not possible without the chalk.

In rock climbing, as in every other human activity, people search for the instantaneous improvement, the ‘magic bullet’. I’ve seen world-class climbers with terrible footwork. Precision? Forget ‘pulling yourself’ up the rock.

Rock Climbing Techniques – Improving Your Footwork

I was confused about this quest of an Apollo 17 Goodwill Moon Rock in the state of Maine.

The Apollo 17 Goodwill Moon Rock was presented to Governor Curtis by U.S Astronauts Conrad and Weitz on October 25, 1973. I emailed the governor office and Maine State Museum. Laurie LaBar, the Chief Curator of History and Decorative Arts of Maine State Museum, emailed me and confirmed the whereabouts of the Apollo 17 Goodwill Moon Rock. She stated the rock was indeed in the Maine State Museum. The rock was presented on a plaque with the Maine State flag flown to and from moon by Apollo 17 astronauts. The Apollo 17 Goodwill Moon rock presented to Maine State Museum is located in their curiosity exhibit.

Discovering the whereabouts of the Apollo 17 Goodwill Moon Rock was exciting, especially on the 40th anniversary of Apollo. I am proud to state; I have found the state of Maine’s Apollo 17 Goodwill Moon Rock.

As the bus approached Uluru, I began to wonder what adventure awaited me.

I almost quit climbing twice.

Whatever energy that emits from this shrine had played havoc with the electronics in our cameras.

Time to eat!!

Ayres Rock, Uluru Austalia

The popular rock climbing star does not like to talk about his own accomplishments as a climber but is always willing to talk about his favorite sport, rock climbing. The climbs made by Chris Sharma were not the easiest. In some of his climbs he had to make several unsuccessful climbs before he made a successful climb. As an individual, Chris Sharma would prefer to have a well balanced life which he is not allowed because of his rock climbing accomplishments. His thoughts have often gone to perhaps quitting rock climbing to get that well balanced life, but rock climbing continues to call him. In the sport of rock climbing that name is Chris Sharma. His popularity is in bouldering a form of rock climbing that is usually done at twenty three feet and the climber does not usually wear any protective gear.

Of all the caves that I have explored, Tumbling Rock Cave in Alabama ranks number 3 on my list of favorite caves. Tumbling Rock Cave is over 6 miles long and is mostly walking passage. The first room, Ante Room, is large walking passage that crosses over the stream.

A short distance from the Saltpeter Works we climb up out of the stream passage and into a large room with two large formations called the Elephants Feet. The climb is 555 feet long, which makes it the longest underground technical route in the United States. Back in the Emperors Room climb down and along the right side of the Christmas Tree formation to the stream level. Follow the sandy crawl along the left side of the stream until you can climb up into the rock pile. After several tight bends and climbs one enters Allens Alley.

Allens Alley is a nice long canyon passage with the stream flowing down below.

The cave continues, though the passage may not be discovered, more than the length of the known cave to a small cave called Timber Cave on the far side of the mountain. Dye tracing of the water entering Timber Cave was traced to Tumbling Rock Cave. If you are looking for a good eight hour wild cave trip, then I would recommend Tumbling Rock Cave.

a. Rope type and thickness: The choice is between a ‘Single’ rope or a ‘Half’ rope. In the good old days single ropes were thick (10.5-11.0 mm) and heavy, but these days you can get single ropes with a diameter of 8.9 – 9.2mm.

10.0 mm single ropes are generally a lot cheaper, but you pay a weight penalty.

The shorter the rope the lighter it is, however a short rope also limits your options both in terms of pitch length, but also more importantly in retreat. A 30m rope only allows a 15m abseil…

We normally use 50m of 8.9mm Mammut Serenity (lovely, but expensive) or 10.0 Mammut Galaxy ( good workhorse) ropes for our courses – both of which are dry treated, single ropes.

The belay device / rope controller should work well with the ropes that you intend to use i.e. if you are using a skinny rope use a belay device that allows you to control/hold the rope in the event of a fall.

A small selection of rock protection is useful on harder scrambles.
